What’s better than a fly fishing tournament to support TMP in Fayetteville?!
The Fayetteville Chapter of the Mayfly Project is happy to announce the 2nd annual Kings River Smallmouth Shootout! After a very successful year 1 of the tournament, we are super pumped to run it back for year 2! Last year 22 teams entered, but a last second solo entry wound up taking home the main prize of 2 Scott Centric rods that were donated to the event by McLellan’s Fly Shop in Fayetteville. We are moving the tournament up slightly this year in hopes of a little more water.
Just like last year, participants will be checking in and out at Kings River Outfitters. Ideally this will be a float style tournament but will just depend on the water level. Date: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Time: TBD: Roughly 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location: Kings River Outfitters in Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Registration Cost: $100/team, or $50/person (team entry recommended)
Gear: Participants will need to provide their own gear/boat. Canoes can be rented through Kings River Outfitters.
