Projects are important for Foster kids because it teaches skills that they can use throughout their life. These kids will always have fly fishing to turn to and we hope they will cherish these lessons and memories forever.

LANDON ROWLETT, LEAD MENTOR
San Antonio, Texas
Landon grew up in a small town in West Texas spending a lot of his youth in the outdoors. He was introduced to fly fishing while working in Colorado as a Whitewater and Backpacking guide during college. Since then he has worked in fly shops and as a guide in the Hill Country of Texas. Landon enjoys spending his spare time outside hunting and fishing throughout Texas with his wife McKenna and his dog Gimli. He hopes that the outdoors will shape the kids in foster care just like it positively shaped his life as a kid.
