Support The Mayfly Project

Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado Project

We’re all blessed to support these children and introduce them to our home waters. The Mayfly Project outings are always reminders to slowwwww things down the same way we tell these kids to do with their casts. It’s a reminder that we are the blessed ones to spend time with these kids and get them (and ourselves) away from the ruff and tumble of their day to day lives.

WOODY BOUGHTON, MENTOR

Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado

Woody was born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley. Ever since he was a boy, fishing the valleys rivers, streams, and lakes was a daily ritual. In high school Woody worked in the local Fly Shop, Taylor Creek, in an effort to further his knowledge and abilities with a fly rod. Now Woody is entering his 9th season as a full time guide for Taylor Creek. Showing people the Roaring Fork Valley and its endless fishing opportunities is a true passion of his and is probably the most rewarding part of his career. The amazing trout these rivers offer are not a bad bonus either.

JENNA CONTI, MENTOR

Aspen, Colorado

Born in Massachusetts, a true New England fan, I moved to Aspen, CO six in a half years ago. Adjusting from the ocean to mountains has been quite the change for me. I grew up fishing in ponds, rivers and deep sea fishing. I learned how to fly fish shortly after arriving in Colorado, and haven’t stopped doing it since. I love being on the river, and teaching people new things.
