Fly Fishing gets children outdoors, teaches them a skill they can use for a lifetime, and fosters their self esteem all while giving them a community (fly fishing family) they can be a part of.

Nicholas works his dream job as a Special Education teacher at a Nontraditional School for students with Emotional disabilities teaching middle school history. Grew up conventional fishing but made the switch to fly fishing in 2013 and has become obsessed with fly fishing. Nicholas has an Australian Shepherd named Teddy who joins in on most fly-fishing adventures. Combining his passion to teach and fish Nicholas is eager to teach anyone willing to learn how to fly fish to include his amazing wife and fellow mentor Yolany Carley. Nicholas is eager to share his love of fly fishing and the outdoors with the Mayfly project
